Travel Report, JUIT, India - Cleve Moler on Mathematics and Computing
 

I was invited recently to give a virtual talk to the [URL="https://siam-juit.github.io/website/"]student chapter[/URL] of SIAM at [URL="https://www.juit.ac.in/"]JUIT[/URL], the Jaycee Institute of Information Technology, in Wagnaghat, India.

JUIT is in northern India between Nepal and Tibet to the east, and Pakistan and Afghanistan to the west.

The campus sits at an altitude of 10,000 feet in the foothills of the Himalayas.

JUIT is a private technical university with selective admissions.
