https://fr.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/10759-jmatio-matlab-s-mat-file-i-o-in-java seems the standard but a lot of people are reporting some bug and the library seems a little bit outdated.

https://github.com/diffplug/JMatIO can't really know and I am not understanding the licencing.

Are there some other approved library for reading .mat file efficiency in java ? I want to read several GB files.
