[求助]从excel读数据的问题

各位大侠，偶从excel读入数据遇到下述问题，请问问题何在？
越详细越好哈。


》xlsread('petrol.xls','a2:i11')
??? Error using ==> xlsread at 262
File D:\我的文档\MATLAB\petrol.xls not in Microsoft Excel Format.

xlsread('petrol.xls','sheet1','a2:i11')

如果工作表名不是sheet1，改成相应的
